The previous UFC star unleashed the blunder on each his Twitter and Instagram pages Tuesday afternoon … when he was attempting to reward his partner, Amy, for being an important mom.
In his remark — which was left as a caption on a photograph of him with Amy and their children — he wrote, “I’ve seen some guys posting on social media currently about how they’re profitable bc their spouse is enticing, whereas I don’t disagree I feel discovering a spouse who is a superb mom is 500% extra necessary!!!”
He added, “Thanks [Amy] for being such an important mother to our youngsters.”
The issue … there seemed to be an insinuation in his submit that maybe his spouse, who he is been married to for over a decade, is not enticing.
Followers had been fast to notice the gaffe — they slammed Askren on social media for the way in which he worded his praise … with many urging him to take it down earlier than she noticed it.
However, a bit of over an hour after he wrote it … Askren blasted those that thought he was inadvertently calling his spouse ugly.
“For these of you who’re too dumb to comprehend a number of issues will be true directly. My spouse is each highly regarded and an important mom,” the ex-fighter stated. “Being an important mom is far more necessary as I initially acknowledged.”
To this point, does not appear Amy’s taken umbrage with the remark … she really simply wrote on his submit that he is averted any type of doghouse — for now.
