The centre collected Rs 68,228 crore on April 20 – the highest-ever single-day assortment.

“The revenues for April 2023 are 12 per cent increased than the GST revenues in the identical month final 12 months,” the federal government’s Press Data Bureau mentioned in an announcement.

“Through the month, the revenues from home transactions (together with import of companies) had been 16 per cent increased than the revenues from these sources throughout the identical month final 12 months,” it mentioned.
